Cross party letter on the park and NSC

One of our new Greens on the London Assembly has organised a cross-party letter calling on Sadiq Khan to work with our local community in shaping the future of the National Sports Centre and Crystal Palace Park.

Boris Johnson spent eight years ignoring the local communities in Crystal Palace, and having to climb down in the face of the opposition he provoked. We’ve been proud to work with the local community and politicians from other parties to stop his hare-brained schemes.

Our new Mayor, Sadiq Khan, has a chance to start afresh. The letter, signed by Caroline and Labour, Conservative and Lib Dem Assembly Members, calls on him to do just this.

During the election campaign Sian Berry visited and pledged to back the Crystal Palace community. She’s now the other Green member of the London Assembly, and has handed our patch over for Caroline to lead on as part of her briefs on the environment and sports.
